Rosický says goodbye to football
Tomáš Rosický’s testimonial football match will take place on 9 June at the Letná stadium in Prague. After hanging up his boots last December, he is now part of Sparta’s board of directors. The kick-off will be at 5 p.m. in a stadium full of fans. The 15,000 tickets were already sold out on the day the sales opened, more than a month before the event. The two teams facing each other on the pitch will be formed in one line-up by former team-mates of the Czech national side, and on the other by a series of international football stars with whom the Czech legend had the opportunity to play for in Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal, including Cesc Fábregas. The Czech selection will be led by coach Karel Brückner, while for the other team Rosický invited Arséne Wenger.
