The City of Prague Museum organizes an exhibition at the House at the Golden Ring to celebrate the centenary of the Kingdom of Puppets. Founded in 1920, in the Praguian district of Bubeneč, it was considered since the beginning one of the most modern puppet theaters in the world due to the acknowledged prestige for the puppets created by the sculptor Vojta Sucharda, the scenographies of his wife Anna, painter and costume designer, and equally for the performances. In 1928, the theater was relocated in the building of the Municipal Library and UNIMA, The International Association of Puppeteers, was founded on its premises in the following year. The exhibition reveals the story of the theater through its puppets, costumes, photographs and designs, part of the scenarios and other props.
