Classic / Vocalise
The Classic/Vocalise concert, organized by the Italia Arte Fest festival and Umbria Music Fest will be held in the Suk Hall of the Rudolfinum in Prague, on the evening of December 12. The artistic conductor and Maestro Walter Attanasi will conduct the virtuosi Konstantin Manaev at cello and Mikhail Mordvinov at piano. The program includes the performance of the piece Alone-cello solo by the Italian composer Giovanni Sollima and three pieces for cello and pianoforte: Vocalise op. 34 and the Sonata in sol minor op. 19 by Sergej Rachmaninov and the Sonata in re minor op. 40 by Dmitrij Šostakovič. The two artists, both Russian by birth and currently performing in Germany, have repeatedly proposed the same program, together with the violinist Julia Smirnova.
