Gott, my life

One of the boats anchored on Vltava hosts in its floating gallery a retrospective exhibit dedicated to the 60-years carrier anniversary of the Czech popular music icon, Karel Gott, also known as “the golden nightingale”. He won 41 times the homonymous singing contest. The exhibition follows the artistic development stages of the singer, as well as the socio-cultural changes he faced in half of century of activity by displaying hundreds of items: photographs, posters, audio and video reproductions of the greatest hits and various prizes, gold and diamond records, concert outfits, diary pages and fans’ tributes. The exhibition is organized by the Richard Flux foundation in collaboration with the National Museum and produced by BigMedia agency.
