The historical complex of the Litomyšl castle commemorates the twentieth anniversary of the entry in the UNESCO patrimony. The events scheduled for this anniversary will be focused mostly on the Renaissance theme, given that the castle has been recognized as part of the humanity patrimony precisely for being a rare example of a building adapted in the Italian Renaissance style. Starting April 6 until Easter, visitors will be able to admire a special floral exhibition. Moreover, the castle is preparing an exhibition of copies of Renaissance clothing, according to the official Zdeňka Kalová.On August 31, visitors will be able to appreciate various music and dance Renaissance events. A week later, on September 7, the national launch of the European Heritage Days will be hosted, along with a festival to celebrate Italy as a cradle of Renaissance.
