The Jawa phenomenon

At the end of November, the National Technical Museum of Prague inaugurated the exhibition “Jawa phenomenon – Jawa, how you never seen it”, open to the public until the end of August 2020. A tribute to the ninety years of activity of the well-known Czech motorcycle manufacturer that has produced over three million motorcycles, the exhibition features about fifty motorcycles, including the Jawa 350 typ 673 for road racing competitions driven by František Šťastný, cars, trophies, a collection of prototypes created between the 1930s and 1990s, pieces that come mainly from private collections, many not accessible to the public. The author is Arnošt Nezmeškal, director of the Museum of Transport, who also wanted to remember the personalities, including manufacturers and drivers, who have their names linked to the Jawa brand.
