From 20 to 30 October
As part of the Week of the Italian language in the world, the Lucca Crea company and the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague have organized the exhibition “The new comic: themes, authors and language in the Italian Graphic Novel”, which will be held in the Baroque Chapel and in the Chapter room of the Institute. It is an exhibition dedicated to the Graphic Novel that starting from famous precursors such as Dino Buzzati, Hugo Pratt, Andrea Pazienza and Lorenzo Mattotti, focuses on the new century and on the works of various artists, including Zerocalcare, Igort, Gipi, Francesca Ghermandi, Gabriella Giandelli, Lrnz, Manuele Fior and Leo Ortolani. A special section will be dedicated to the narrator Vittorio Giardino who through the character of Jonas Fink has described life in communist Czechoslovakia.
