From January 23rd to March 23rd
The Národní památkový ústav (National Heritage Institute), part of the UNESCO Commission for the Czech Republic, is organizing the photo exhibition “European Heritage” together with the National Library which hosts it at the Klementinum. Open until March 23rd, the event consists of 38 images of European locations that from 2013 to date have obtained the title of World Heritage sites. You can move between archaeological sites and medieval castles, see the Abbey of Cluny, the General Archive of the Crown of Aragon, the Shipyard of Gdansk or the Přemyslid Castle and the Archdiocesan Museum of Olomouc, UNESCO sites since 2015. Purpose of the event is to focus on common memory and European identities through places that embody ideas and values.
