BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon
The city of Nové Město na Moravě, in the Vysočina region, will host the seventh stage of the 43rd edition of the 2019-2020 Biathlon World Cup which will take place for the first time in March, in a four-day period from the 5th to the 8th, and about ten days from the World Championships in Antholz, in South Tyrol. In the Czech town, athletes will compete in three types of race, divided between men and women: sprints, mass starts and relays. Given the popularity of the event, it is expected to be sold out. There will be an entertainment program for the spectators, ready to cheer for Markéta Davidová, Veronika Vítková, Ondřej Moravec or Michal Šlesingr in his final season, with the daily show of the duo En. Dru a Nasty broadcast on the big screens of the Vysočina arena.
