Colours of Ostrava
Ostrava, the third largest Czech city after Prague and Brno, and once the site of coal mines and metallurgical factories, is the stage for various international festivals. From 17 to 20 July, the Colors of Ostrava takes place, one of the major multicultural music festivals in Europe. Thirty indoor and outdoor stages are expected but the main setting of the event is the disused metallurgical site of Dolní Vítkovice. The program offers over 350 events including concerts, DJ sets, meetings and debates, workshops, performances of poetry, theatre and art. The Cure are the most highly-awaited guests of this 18th edition, made unique by the variety of genres proposed. Among the others Rag’n’Bone Man, Florence + The Machine, Tom Walker, the Italian Enrico Sangiuliano and many others.
