Sweet duel. Cecilia & Sol
On the 14th of December, in Dvořák hall of the Praguian Rudolfinum, takes place the concert “Sweet duel” featuring the mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli and the cellist Sol Gabetta. Guest in “World opera stars in 2017”, Bartoli performed in the most famous concert halls and from 2011 until today she performed several times already in Prague. The Argentinian Sol Gabetta was nominated in 2013 “Instrumentalist of the Year” at the Echo Klassik Awards. These two artists of the international music scene recorded the cd “Sweet Duel” in March this year, a selection of baroque arias for voice and cello including songs from Händel, Albinoni, Caldara or Boccherini, present on the playlist of the Praguian concert. The event is supported by the Italian Institute of Culture.
