7+1 Czech masters of glass

The Kampa Museum is hosting an exhibition on seven Czech masters of glass art and the result of a collaboration with the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague that takes on a project that was first presented back in 1983 at the American Craft Museum in New York by Meda Mládková, founder of the Kampa Museum. The latter, went on to select seven artists to introduce to the American public and personalities that in the nineteen-eighties contributed to making glass the supreme material of free artistic creation: Stanislav Libenský, Jaroslava Brychtová, René Roubíček, Věra Lišková, Jiří Harcuba, Václav Cigler and Vladimír Kopecký. The exhibition has been organized in honor of Miluše Roubíčková, the +1 from the title of the event, designer who died last year and whose creations are now being exhibited.
